5.1 Use of Google services for web analysis and advertising purposes

We use the technologies of Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), as described below. The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transmitted to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA and stored there. For the USA, there is no adequacy decision of the European Commission. Our cooperation with them is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission.  If your IP address is collected via Google technologies, it is shortened by activating IP anonymization before being stored on Google's servers. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server and shortened there. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, the data processing is based on an agreement concluded for the respective technology between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 DSGVO. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.

Google Analytics

For the purpose of website analysis, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. As a matter of principle, your IP address will not be merged with other data from Google. Data processing is carried out on the basis of an order processing agreement by Google.

Google Ads

For advertising purposes in Google search results as well as on third-party websites, the so-called Google Remarketing Cookie is set when you visit our website, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information as well as information on your use of our website) and by means of a pseudonymous CookieID and on the basis of the pages you visit. Data processing beyond this only takes place if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing.

For website analysis and event tracking, we measure your subsequent usage behavior via Google Ads Conversion Tracking if you have reached our website via an advertisement from Google Ads. For this purpose, cookies may be used and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter) may be collected, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.

Google enhanced Conversion

This website uses Google Ads. Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4 IE ("Google"). Within the framework of Google Ads, we use the so-called enhanced conversion tracking. This requires consent, which you can object to.

Extended conversions are a function that supplements existing conversion tags. This allows conversion data collected on the website itself to be sent to Google in encrypted form.

When a conversion is performed on a website, in most cases user:inside data such as a name, email address or postal address is collected. This can be captured and hashed in your conversion tracking tags. To do this, the data is encrypted with a one-way hash algorithm SHA256. The hash values of your user:inside data are then passed to Google and used to improve your conversion measurement.

If Consent-Mode the cookie banner is accepted, the tracking tags will work as usual and capture the associated conversions and click information. In case of cookie refusal, Consent-Mode sends only a ping information. The so-called pings work without cookies. They can contain information such as the timestamp and the referral URL. No personally identifiable information is stored. In addition, Consent Mode can use the pings to compare opt-in and opt-out rates. This information is then used to model conversions from users who declined the cookie banner.

So when you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for the advanced conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user.

Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked through Ads customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. For example, customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

You can find more information about Google Ads and Google enhanced conversion tracking in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

For the visual presentation of geographical information, Google Maps collects data about your use of the Maps functions, in particular the IP address and location data, transmits this data to Google and subsequently processes it. We have no influence on this subsequent data processing.

To integrate third-party content, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected via the YouTube video plugin in the extended data protection mode used by us, transmitted to Google and subsequently processed by Google only when you play a video.

We use the technologies outlined below from Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, D18 P521, Ireland ("Microsoft"). The data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 DSGVO. Our cooperation with them is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission.  For further information on data processing by Microsoft, please refer to Microsoft's privacy policy.

Microsoft Advertising

For advertising purposes in the Bing, Yahoo and MSN search results and on third party websites, when you visit our website, the so-called Microsoft Advertising Remarketing Cookie is set, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and by means of a pseudonymous CookieID and based on the pages you visit.

For website analytics and event tracking, we use Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) to measure your subsequent usage patterns when you have accessed our website through a Microsoft Advertising ad, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. For this purpose, cookies may be used and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter) may be collected, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. If your Internet-enabled devices are linked to your Microsoft account and you have not deactivated the "Interest-based advertising" setting in your Microsoft account, Microsoft may generate reports on usage behavior (in particular cross-device user numbers), even if you change your terminal device, so-called "cross-device tracking". We do not process personal data in this respect, we only receive statistics based on Microsoft UET.
